ManiOS 0.25.0, QEMU i386 CPU 486, 64 MiB, independent FAT16 snapshots; merged copies of top-level files from all five disks; PIF subdirectory preserved; duplicate files verified byte-identical
Program limit: 12 seconds. All three returned to shell.

SETUP EC at 1010:38A3 is IN AL,DX; DX=03DAh, video-status polling.
Direct kernel diagnostic reaches DB E3 (FNINIT) after error/garbled output; this is not a valid installed Windows startup and does not establish a required x87 dependency.
NOTEPAD executes only its DOS stub and reports that it needs Microsoft Windows.
This test did not reach a usable Windows environment; first confirmed installer blocker is missing video port input support.
NE signatures are not an LE/LX protected-mode diagnosis. No 32-bit requirement is inferred from the Windows NE format.

Original 7z and floppy images unchanged. Images were inspected with mtools; copies of files were run from a FAT16 hard disk. This does not test original floppy mounting or disk swapping in ManiOS.
All top-level files from five disks were merged into the disposable C: root; duplicate files were byte-identical and PIF directory was preserved. This is test preparation, not a completed Windows installation.
No installed WIN.COM was produced. Direct KERNEL.EXE and NOTEPAD.EXE runs are startup diagnostics, not attempts through a fully installed Windows loader.
Host probe injects 1 millisecond per 20,000 instructions, with a five-million-instruction cap, for diagnostic progress only; QEMU uses the normal elapsed-uptime clock.
No Windows desktop, working installer workflow or Windows application was reached.
